Hercules had four movies before the T.V. series began, so I think it is fair game in this forum.
Hercules and sidekick Iaolus travel to Egypt for a mini-vacation. Thinking that she might have more success killing Herc outside of Greece, Hera sends a servant to resurrect Imhotep to kill the son of Zeus.
Herc and Iaolus are visiting with the locals at an outside market when an eclipse occurs and fire starts raining down from the sky. Eventually, all the plagues of Egypt rain down upon the villagers before Imhotep appears, in full human form(not the skeletal form, he skips all that) and kidnaps Iaolus. Hercules must stop him and rescue his friend.
