I've never seem him walking unstoppably when he wasn't on solid ground. The idea he can walk through space is just theory.

he is trying to jump into space

he could possibly jump just as far or farther than the hulk seeing as how he is atleast (even for hulk fanboys, he is a contender for stongest being on the planet) similar in strength to hulk


i believe he CAN jump into orbit

he also walked on telekinetic energy when jean grey lifted him off the ground.

same thing if he walk of a cliff: does he continue runnin on thin air or does he fall?
