This is a revamp of the Juggernaut respect thread. I will break it down into 4 segments, Strength, Battle feats, Durability and Unique/Special abilities. Before I begin I want to thanks a few people. Thanks to newjak86 for the original Juggernaut respect thread. Ptr_Grifin for helping me out with some scans and Cain Marko for his awesome Juggernaut fan site.

Also, this is my first attempt at a respect thread so forgive any mistakes.

Now, on with the show.

Strength

Only using a fraction of his power and from a considerable distance, Juggernaut nearly collapses the X-Mansion with his footsteps:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%2012/th_UCXM012-06.jpg

Juggernaut tears through a steel door that is 50 times the tensil strength of battleship steel as though it were toilet paper:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%2012/th_UCXM012-18.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%2012/th_UCXM012-19.jpg

Slamming his fists into the ground, Juggernaut causes an earthquake that ripples across an entire valley:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%2033/th_XMEN33pg02.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%2033/th_XMEN33pg03.jpg

Juggernaut nearly causes Cassidy keep and the rock it's built on to collapse with one punch:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%20103/th_UXM_103_07.jpg

Juggernaut easily tears the entire corner off a building just to get his hands on Spiderman:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/ASM%20230/th_SafeupthereASM230.jpg

Despite having his power cut to less than half, Juggernaut is still strong enough to fight off Colossus while bear hugging an amped Rogue:

Juggernaut sends Captain Britain flying backward for over a mile while also carving a huge gouge in the Earth with one punch:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/Excalibur%203/th_pure_strength3.jpg

Sends Thor flying through the air and through the wall of a grocery store with a casual pimp hand:

Easily breaks out of a solid streel encasing:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/Thor%20412/th_THOR_1989__412_17.jpg

Knocks over a skyscraper (WTC tower?) with a single ram of his shoulder:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/Spiderman%2016/th_Spider-man_016-20.jpg

Collapses a building with a single punch:

Despite having his power reduced to nearly nothing, the Juggernaut is still strong enough to throw a truck through a building and tear the corner off a building and brandish it as a weapon:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%20361/th_unc_xmen_v1_361_10_rougher.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%20361/th_unc_xmen_v1_361_11_rougher.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/UXM%20361/th_unc_xmen_v1_361_12_rougher.jpg

At one point the Juggernaut was possessed by the evil aspect of the Trion, who represent the totality of their dimension. The evil aspect began to tap deeper into Cyttoraks power to the point where Juggernaut was able to punch through the fabric of space and time with his bare hands:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/XMen%2088/th_xmen_v2_088_11_rougher.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/XMen%2088/th_xmen_v2_088_22_rougher.jpg

During the 8th Day saga, Juggernaut and the exemplar Stonecutters punches were causing earthquakes and the landscape around them to collapse:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/8th%20Day/th_jug_8th_day_p33.jpg

Juggernaut drops the Stranger with one punch:

While this fight didn't make Juggernaut look particularly good, I don't feel it made him look that bad either. Besides, it's a personal fav.

I've debated (on here and other boards) many times about the context of this fight. Many believe that Juggernaut was using his unstoppability enchantment and the Hulk slowed him to a crawl (some believe he stopped him). I've always believed that it was purely a test of strength and I was proven correct. Thanks to my friend who goes by Cain Marko on his fan site, The writer of the WWH/ X-Men books Christos Gage confirms that it was indeed a test of strength and the Juggernaut matched (and even surpassed) the strongest Hulk to date.

This is from Marvel 1985. The canonicity of this arc is suspect as is whether or not these are 616 Juggernaut and Hulk.

This is really the comic that really solidified the Juggernaut as my favorite villain. In this story the Juggernaut (in civies) pwns Colossus something fierce, completely wrecks the bar they're in and at the end pays for the damage and walks off like nothing happened. So cool!

Durability/Healing

Beast confirms that Juggernaut is still virtually invulnerable w/o his FF:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/UXM%2033/th_XMEN33pg18.jpg

Harmlessly absorbs a million volts of electricity:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/ASM%20229/th_MillionVoltsASM229.jpg

After having a gas truck driven into him and exploding, not only is the Juggernaut completely unmoved, he's also completely unharmed:

Dazzler fires a blast at Juggernaut that was strong enough to punch a hole through a mountain, the Juggernaut is unfazed:

Dazzler confirms the blasts power:

Rogue hits the Juggernaut so hard, all the windows in the area shatter. The Juggernaut is unfazed:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/UXM%20218/th_Uncanny_X-Men_218-11.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/UXM%20218/th_Uncanny_X-Men_218-12.jpg

Firestar heats Juggernauts armor until it's white hot. Juggernaut doesn't even notice:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Thor%20412/th_THOR_1989__412_13.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Thor%20412/th_THOR_1989__412_14.jpg

Thor fires a powerful lightning attack at the Juggernaut. It only tickles him:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Thor%20412/th_THOR_1989__412_15.jpg

Thor fires his most powerful attack at the Juggernaut. It only gives him vertigo:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Thor%20412/th_THOR_1989__412_16.jpg

Despite apparently having his invulnerability removed (erm), Thor still can't put the Juggernaut down and he is only barely dazed:

Knowsbleed33
...more durability.

Twice Cannonball flew high speed at the Juggernaut, Cannonball merely bounces off the Juggernauts chest and the Juggernaut is unfazed:

I only have the scans of the one instances. When I get the others I will post them.

Shatterstar stabs out one of the Juggernauts eyes. He regrows a new one 1 panel later:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Spiderman%2016/th_Spider-man_016-18.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Spiderman%2016/th_Spider-man_016-19.jpg

Shatterstar slices Juggernauts face up with his sword. He heals instantly:

Knowsbleed33
On two occasions the Juggernaut had a vat of molten steel dumped on him. The first time he went out for several panels, completely awash in flames:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Deadpool%20v2/th_Deadpool_LS2_02_pg21.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Deadpool%20v2/th_Deadpool_LS2_02_pg22.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Deadpool%20v2/th_Deadpool_LS2_03_pg02-03.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Deadpool%20v2/th_Deadpool_LS2_03_pg04.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Deadpool%20v2/th_Deadpool_LS2_03_pg05.jpg
http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Deadpool%20v2/th_Deadpool_LS2_03_pg06.jpg

The second time was after having his power reduced considerably. He comments that he can feel it, but he's still completely undamaged:

Knowsbleed33
...durability finale.

Having been reduced to nothing but a skeleton by D'Spayre, the Juggernaut continues on as if nothing happened:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Juggernaut%20OneShot/th_Juggernaut1997_p34.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Juggernaut%20OneShot/th_Juggernaut1997_p35.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/Juggernaut%20OneShot/th_Juggernaut1997_p36.jpg

Juggernaut laughs off a blast from Cyclops that, according to him, would've ripped a small planet in half:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/th_Cyclops-01-Odyssey01-IfLooksCouldKi.jpg

Stellaris is a self-proclaimed Celestial killer. Her living armor is said to be the same exact armor that Celestials wear. More than once her power was compared to a Herald of Galactus, Thor even once compared her directly to the Silver Surfer. Here, Stellaris fires a blast at the Juggernaut that is so powerful, the residuals blow a huge hole in the ground. The Juggernaut is unfazed:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Durability/th_Feat6.jpg

The mutant Chamber fires a bio-energy blast at the Juggernaut with so much force that Chamber was rendered unconcious afterward. The Juggernaut is completely unharmed:

And last, but not least. Juggernaut shrugs off a blast from the cosmic being, the Stranger:

Knowsbleed33
Unique/Special abilities

This section will be dedicated to the unique and special abilites the Juggernaut has or had in the past. Some scans I'm going to post show abilites that Juggernaut once had in the past but no longer does. They're just neat. Others will be unique traits about his core power-set that are interesting.

Armor

These scans are simply to show that the Juggernaut wills his armor on and off. I've had people ask me how he gets his armor on or if he wears it under his clothes:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Armor/th_PPSM84p06.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Armor/th_PPSM84p20.jpg

Helmet

I wanted to show some of the more unique traits of the Juggernauts helmet.

The first scan shows that his helmet not only protects him from the average psi attacks. It also protects him from amped or very highly powered psi attacks. The first scan shows Sinister using the Cronus device was trying to psionically possess Cain. His helmet prevented it:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Helmet/th_X-Men_-_Legacy_211_002.jpg

This scan demonstrates that not only does the helmet prevent psi attacks, it also allows Cain to know who's trying to psi attack him.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Helmet/th_X-Men_-_Legacy_219_004.jpg

Force Field

Here I wanted to demonstrate the true nature of Juggernauts force field. Most seem to think it's something he uses to amp his durability. While it does do that, that's not what it was originally portrayed as.

Here, Juggernauts force field is pushing Chuck X backwards:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Force%20Field/th_UCXM013-02.jpg

After Iceman encases Juggernaut in a block of ice. He uses his FF to break free:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Force%20Field/th_UCXM013-10.jpg

Beast releases a 10-ton steel roller at the Juggernaut. His FF not only stops the rollers momentum, but it actually reverses it back at Beast:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Force%20Field/th_UCXM013-14.jpg

This scan shows that his FF prevents TK tampering. Also, it stops Beast in mid-air and throws him back at Iceman:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Force%20Field/th_X-Men_1-032-17.jpg

Finally, Juggernauts FF slows down and stops Thors hammer:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Force%20Field/th_THOR_1989__411_16.jpg

Knowsbleed33
...continued.

These are abilities that Juggernaut either no longer has or displays very little.

Juggernaut briefly possessed telepathic abilities:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/TP/th_X-Men_1-032-11.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/TP/th_X-Men_1-032-18.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/TP/th_X-Men_1-032-19.jpg

Here the Juggernaut demonstrates he isn't just some slow, lumbering oaf. He can be fast if he wants to be:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Speed/th_SpeedFeatAA16.jpg

Here the Juggernaut shows that not even being suspended in mid-air can stop him:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Misc/th_UCXM013-16.jpg

Juggernaut was once able to cast powerful spells. Here, he uses a spell to shrink Nightmare:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Misc/th_DrStrange-18213.jpg

Juggernaut fires energy orbs in order to prevent the X-Men from attacking him:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Misc/th_GlobulesofSHEERENERGYUXM46.jpg

Juggernaut absorbs and fires Storms own power back at her:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Misc/th_ReturnsStormsattackUXM102.jpg

The enchantment that empowers him prevents him from sinking:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Unique/Misc/th_StaysAfloatAA16.jpg

Knowsbleed33
Imposternaut

These are perhaps the darkest days in the Juggernauts history. But, despite Chuck Austens best efforts to castrate the Juggernaut, he had some pretty impressive battle feats.

Goes toe 2 toe with Sasquatch:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/Imposternaut/Sasquatch/th_p22-23.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/Imposternaut/Sasquatch/th_p24.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/Imposternaut/Sasquatch/th_p25.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/Imposternaut/Sasquatch/th_p26.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/Imposternaut/Sasquatch/th_p33.jpg

Knowsbleed33
That's it for now. There is some stuff I wanted to add, but didn't have the scans. Like Juggernauts fight with Prime of the Ultraverse etc. Also, I may add a section for alternate verse Juggernauts, not sure. If someone else wants to do it feel free. If I missed anything you feel is important let me know or you can go ahead and ass it yourself.

For now, enjoy and respect the unstoppable engine of destruction...

...Respect the Juggernaut!

Thanks for posting the Venom fight Galan. I thought about posting that one myself, but the fight isn't really all that interesting and the art is terrible.

I forgot to add these to the special abilities section.

Evidence that the Juggernaut has dynamic strength:

There are other on panel hints that the Juggernaut has dynamic power. Nothing as substantial as this though IMO.

I don't believe he was. As Galan said he was just more focused than usual. From the evidence I've seen (And the 2 scans I provided) Juggernaut can boost his power himself subconciously. Cain is just a narrow-minded person so he probably never thinks he needs it. IMO if he was amped at all it was just Cain tapping more into the gems power.

Rage.Of.Olympus
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e139/RageOfTheGod/th_Juggernautaugmented.jpg

Clearly Juggernaut was amped and a lot more powerful during 8th Day. To say otherwise is stupid. The contention is whether he was simply willing himself into more power or Cytorrak was allowing/making him gain more power. I say the latter as he was never able to reach said levels again and at best would need special circumstances to amp to higher levels than his classic self "if" he can. But that's just me.

Knowsbleed33
He wasn't amped. 8th Day never did anything classic Juggernaut couldn't easily do.

He was just more focused in 8th Day.

Rage.Of.Olympus
Utter bullshit. Juggernaut cannot do that to Thor at Classic levels.

So you're going to ignore completely what was stated on panel? Holy shit, the man even agrees with Thor on panel, that his amped. He agrees. What more do you want?

You gotta be freaking delusional if you don't think he was amped during 8th day or you need a new pair of glasses.

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e139/RageOfTheGod/th_Juggernautaugmented.jpg

Do I have to circle the speech bubbles for you?

He wasn't just more focused. He even says that something is making him this way. It's Cytorrak's hand (Unless someone else was playing a part in it.) I'm assuming that's making him that way.

Knowsbleed33
Don't post nonsense like this in my respect thread. I understand being a Thor fanboy you have to convince yourself that Thor could only get owned by an amped Juggernaut.

He wasn't amped. All Thor says is he seemd stronger and Juggernaut says he has some place to be and nothing is going to stop him from getting there. No where does it say he's amped.

Don't come back into my respect thread with your nonsense or you'll get reported for trolling.

Was 8th day Juggearnout empowered or not?

Because in that scan Juggs confirms Thor remark, on his empowerment.

Sorry. Good respect thread by the way and it's not nonsense. The fact that he hasn't owned Thor under normal circumstances, and the fact that he was portrayed so much stronger and more powerful here backs up my theory.

As to the remarks all Cain really confirms was that something was calling him, and he even goes unto to say that was reason no one or anything was gonna stand in his way. He also never makes direct reference to himself gaining an amp beyond the sumthin making him more focused.

Or need I make mention of the fact that even after breaking from Cyttorak's control he was still portrayed as powerful as when he fought Thor with no clear decrease in strength. Something you would suspect if Cyttorak was giving him an amp.

He's not amped. How the heck would Thor know if Juggernaut was being amped by an outside source? He just comments on Juggernaut seeming stronger than he was the last time they met. That has more to do with Juggernaut owning Thor this time around.

Juggernaut just says he's more focused than usual. No evidence of an amp.

I never said he couldn't. I know Classic Juggernaut can tank blows from Thor unharmed.

Holy shit why is it so difficult to read what's on the damn panel. He clearly agrees with Thor that he was more powerful than ever before. I.e amped.

Thor says, "As though he is e'en more powerful than e'er before."

Juggernaut says, " You got that right goldilocks. Sumthin's makin me that way...."

I highlighted it for you. I can't do anymore than that at this point.

If Cytorrak simply amped him by allowing him more access to his power, if he broke Cytorrak's control over him, that wouldn't mean he would lose the excess power, unless Cytorrak had to keep a constant flow of power into Cain as if it gets diminished over time or Cain exerting his power would diminish it which I do not assume is the case.

I can't believe a new thread has been turned into this. He could easily be talking about his focus making him stronger. He doesn't know why he is being drawn there, but he will get there no matter what.

The scans, with the two different editors, saying that he has the ability to draw on infinite power and then Cyttorak himself saying he doesn't limit Juggernaut's power suggest he is only powering himself up.

Then you have D'Spraye saying that he has drained all of Juggernaut's power, yet Cain stood there still with strength as nothing but a skeleton.

He bested Cyttorak in a battle of wills for control of his soul. It was on the mental plane.

jalek moye
so there powers had no effect? because I can't see how would phsyically beat his power source.

Knowsbleed33
No, it was just a battle of wills. During that arc the Octessence were pitting their avatars against each other. In order to win, Cyttorak sought to completely control Cain like the other members did their avatars. Cain won the battle of wills and regained complete control over his soul. This is why he turned against the exemplars at the end.

its obvious juggernaut wasnt amped.... he was amped in the trion incident . he didnt do anything unusual against thor that he doesnt usually do (smack him around)... so i think its a clear cut case of you needing to examin things a tad more.

Knowsbleed33
Here are a few scans from Juggernauts time with the Exiles.

He experienced a sharp drop in power upon entering the Ultraverse. While some of this stuff may seem 'meh' when you think about the Juggernaut, it becomes impressive when you consider his power was cut by at least 50%.

Here the Juggernaut picks up and swings a mechanical t-rex:

Casually sweeps aside a couple of tanks:

Some more stuff. A strength feat and a couple of durability showings.

I'm not 100% how seriously this book should be taken judging by the art. Nevertheless, it's 100% canon.

Juggernaut physically restrains the Hulk:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Strength/Defenders%2010/th_Defendersv2010-16-1.jpg

Spider-Woman and Storm dump enough energy into this attack that both women nearly die because of it. Juggernaut feels it, but is otherwise undamaged:

Survives a physical assault by 2 Exemplars. Only the psi-Exemplar Bedlam is able to take him down when his helmet comes off:

Some more stuff.

Here's is Juggernauts 2005 X-Men edition handbook entry. I guess we can consider this Imposternauts official handbook bio:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Handbook/th_XB1.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Handbook/th_XB2.jpg

Juggernauts OHotMU 2007 Edition bio. I have a hard copy of the current series of handbooks. The only difference between that and these is the new one reflects his appearances in the WWH/X-Men crossover and X-Men Legacy #211. Everything else is exactly the same:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Handbook/th_HB1.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Handbook/th_HB2.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Handbook/th_HB3.jpg

I also wanted to add this excerpt from his handbook entry. It should be in the Exiles section, but I don't really want to have a mod edit my post just for this.

Basically, this excerpt just confirms that he was depowered during his time in the Ultraverse:

Is the red barred entry supposed to be his most current? The strengths seem backwards.

Darth Jello
No, I think it's about 5 years old back when Juggs was slightly depowered and trying to reform. Can't you still stop him if you dig under him or am I thinking of the Blob?

Ptr_Grifin
Incredible Hulk #602 wasn't bad. Juggernaut didn't get beat down or really loose outside of BFR. Skaar had to result to tricking him in order to keep Juggernaut from killing him.

Knowsbleed33
yeah, it wasn't bad at all really. The writing stunk something fierce but it proved Skaar is no match for Juggernaut without tricks and BS.

The scan I posted above is really the only worthy feat to post. What do you think?

Ptr_Grifin
For Juggernaut or Banner's shield? But seriously, that is interesting to see that Juggernaut's punches are causing quakes on the Richter Scale that high without actually hitting the ground to cause them. Also Cain beating Skaar into the ground was pretty neat. Other than that, it wasn't much of a fight once things got thrown up into the air. I noticed Cain never really showed any noticed to being hit, only him pissed about being in orbit.

Also, I did not like the art or the liberties taken with his armor, but mostly the art. The artist just can't draw a good Juggernaut IMO.

No thats Blog. Phoenix/jean tried to throw Juggs in the air once, he just kept on walking. Your thinking of when Hulk picked up the ground under Blob to move him and/or colussus.

Strange that I over-looked this. I contemplated posting the scene where Juggernaut takes Wolverine out for the rest of this book and the beginning of the next book with a simple pimp hand.

Something similiar to this happened in IH #602. The same sword Skaar used to cut his dad and stab him in the chest bounced off Juggernauts bare skin.

Different sword it actually got cut in half by the one Skaar is has now which is the sword that Hulk had during WWH.

But that's just me.

you're right, thats just you. juggs has taken a god blast before yet you have trouble believing he didn't fall from thor nailing him over & over? confused

I don't know exactly what happens, but there is a pic of Juggernaut, helmet-less, KO'd in New York with Spider-Man standing next to him looking up. The story arc is called, "Something can stop the Juggernaut".

Hopefully it wasn't by physical force and more along the lines of psychics or something related to that.

snoopdogg
What issue is this?

And I like that theory, makes sense.

Knowsbleed33
It's going to be in a 3 issue arc in ASM written by Roger Stern. The same guy who wrote the ASM where Juggernaut fell into wet cement. It was suppose to come out at the end of this year, but I've checked all the solicits up until the end of December and it's not listed.

Probably be out sometime early next year.

I've had the same thought. I guess you can't really tell from that pic, but it does look like he is unconscious. The first thing that came to mind after reading the IH issue was that someone/thing knocked him down to earth from orbit.

He didn't get one-shot, he just got knocked on his ass.

It happened in X-Men Forever #6.

I posted this scan a page ago showing how powerful the residuals of Juggernats blows were:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/IH%20602/th_IncredibleHulk602006.jpg

There have been several naysayers who think McCoy meant "4.8" not "8". That was a preview only scan when I posted it so we couldn't see what happened afterwards. As you can see by the next page, the blows were condierably more powerful than 4.8:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/IH%20602/th_IncredibleHulk602007.jpg

I assure you, no 4.8 magnitude tremor will cause the ground to crack and uplift like that. The last major earthquake we had here in Seattle was a 6.8 back in 2001 and the most damage that one did was destroy to facade on several buildings.

Here are some other scans from IH 602. i went back and forth on posting anything from this book for 2 reasons, (A) Juggernaut was written terribly here and I didn't want to lead on that I accepted this nonsense and (B) the art is terrible. Since it seems we wont be having another Juggernaut appearance for a while, I decided to post a few scenes from the book.

Juggernaut briefly battles Skaar:

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/IH%20602/th_IncredibleHulk602009.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/IH%20602/th_IncredibleHulk602010.jpghttp://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg102/Knowsbleed33/Battle/IH%20602/th_IncredibleHulk602011.jpg

Juggernaut takes a sword strike from Skaar that bounces off Juggernauts bare skin. Skaar was able to slice and stab Hulk right through the heart in a previous book:

Just a quick correction that wasn't the same sword he stabbed Hulk with. He is using the sword Hulk had in WWhulk which Banner gave him for the challenges/training, he stabbed Hulk with the sword he got on Sakaar.

But yea Juggernaut was acting "off" in that comic i thought

This is the first book of a 3 issue arc written by Roger Stern who has shown in the past that he knows how to handle the character.

Sometimes covers tend to display things that don't happen in the actual comic, so he might not bleed or get bruised in the issue.

I'm thinking it is either Red Hulk or Sentry who did this to him. They've been hyping both a lot lately.

I'm really hoping he isn't knocked out for 3 issues and that he at least has some good action.

Sentry is going to have his hands full with Absorbing Man who just absorbed the powers of some cosmic cube fragments.

still not right. he's not Superman, and even Kent doesnt crumble to dust when magic touches him. Juggernaut is re: protected by some of the most powerful magic in the universe. so Shatterstars blade is more powerful than Cains enchantment? and its never showed this effect to anything else. silly is all that is. Cains enchantment is powerful enough that he was able to go through Dr.Strange's autoshield in one punch.
so Shatterstars blade would do that double time? no, thats a "no-prize explanation", and not as creative as unstable molecules in the F4's clothing i think.

Why do you complain about Shatterstar? Feral cut Cain's arm. Now that was PIS incarnate.
