When captain America comes back, who should lead the Mighty Avengers and New Avengers and who is going to be on it?


My opinion this what the Mighty Avengers might look like and New Avengers! Beginning of the New Year

If Cap has any sense of honour he'll let Bucky take the mantle I'd say.

Think about how traumatised Cap has been throughout having to revisit all these places of chaos and war during Reborn. I think it's probably gonna shake him up and make him consider if he's really cut out for this anymore.

He should stay around in one of the rosters, but not the main one, and not as Captain America.

I can't see that, though.

Nor can I see Thor working with Iron Man ever again. He was pretty pissed when he came back.

If Marvel want to resume the numbering of the original Avengers series for a 600th issue (which I bet they do), would they consume the New Avengers issues, the Mighty Avengers issues or consolidate both? If they combined the numbering of New Avengers and Mighty, with the original run they'd be pretty close to hitting issue 600 now with the possibility of Cap led classic Avengers title in the near future.

Maybe I'm just dreaming though.

I don't think that'd work.

I think it'd have to be a new series featuring the original Avengers. New Avengers is just that, and Mighty Avengers is just a side team essentially. Though, if they did lost one/take over one, it'd probably be M.A. because it's only up to issue 27 or so. Compared to N.A. being at 57, it's obvious.

assuming SHRA is still in effect and Norman is ousted, Bucky should be the public Captain America and Steve the secret Captain America.

Does anyone outside of Uncle Ben, Copperhead, Death Stalker, Gwen Stacie, Karen Paige, Heather Glenn, and Jack Murdock ever die?

There's a miniseries coming out at the moment called Cap reborn. It's on something like the second issue (I'm waiting for the trade) and it establishes that when Cap died, his consciousness went back through time into previous moments of his life.

Joking aside, I'm annoyed they're bringing him back only just over two years after he died (by the time this miniseries ends, it might be three). However I was annoyed by every decision Brubaker made on Cap, until I read it and thought it was brilliant.

I just hope they keep Bucky as Cap....

Brubaker is amazing, I can't fault anything he's done.

Original numbering for Avengers PLUS Ironman is in the works already you have to assume.
