why most people today abandon god and religion?

it seem we hit really dark times today with so many people making fun of god and the bible, so many people abandon the way of the lord and think its cool, of course we will see them laugh at judgment day but thats a different story that they will discover in the future

it was said in the bible "and there shaw be days when the light will be darkness and the darkness will become light" and those days came indeed so people repent and get back to the way of light the way of the lord
