they had to actually seek help agaianst the concept of destruction. (Abraxas)
According to the story,
only a level of power that can completely erase
and re-create all that was, is and/or ever will be in Reality, (space-time)
can defeat Abraxas.
MJJ was undefeatable, with only one weakness (a plot device called the Fury)
even a power that molded the entire Omniverse's life-force, (Matrix/Merlyn)
was totaly helpless against MJJ.
(I guess this is why Moore (the writer) labelled MJJ ... GOD!)
