Can [Insert Superhero] save the day?

There is an airplane traveling 450mph over a land mass. Suddenly, it has engine trouble and will crash in 5 minutes.

Who would do the best job of saving everyone ? if they can't save everyone would they be able to save the person sitting next to them?

The following are the people who are responding to the situation.

1. Wonder Woman

2. Batman with his jet

3. Green Lantern

Not sure if I'm doing this right but anyway....

1. Invisible woman - Saves a few people inside her shield.

2. Mr. Fantastic - Saves a few people by forming a parachute - Think "The Incredibles"

3. Spiderman - Webs up everyone to secure them. Saves some.

4. Iceman - he could try going out and encasing the plane with as much ice as possible, and then freezing a slippery runway. If they can land at a favorable angle, maybe they might slide along instead of directly crashing into the ground. Still going to be fatalities, but likely reduced.

5. Jean Grey no phoenix - Dunno if her TK is up to it. Could just evac people out of the plane and onto the ground groups at a time during the 5 minutes.

6. Colossus - Can't do anything. Could hug one person to absorb impact.

7. Blob ( angry about paying for 2 seats) - Jumps off to reduce weight but everyone still dies. Or someone could try and crawl up his ...

5. Storm - Maybe

6. Punisher with his van - Shoots Rockets at the plane to minimize damage to people on the ground.

7. Silver Surfer - Easily Saves

1. Invisible woman - Maybe saves the plane. Her shields usually handle a small beating against the Hulk. And she managed to crack a Celestial.

2. Mr. Fantastic - Maybe he can wrap around and make a parachute?

3. Spiderman - No. Not even himself.

4. Iceman - He's fine, but everyone is dead. His powers would do more harm than good.

5. Jean Grey no phoenix - Maybe the plane. At least a bunch of people.

6. Colossus - No. He's fine, but everyone is dead.

7. Blob - He's fine, but he's probably the reason the plane is going down anyway.

The following are the people who are responding to the situation.

1. Wonder Woman - Saves them.

2. Batman with his jet - He could maybe carry the other plane and slow it's descent. Could go either way. Good chance of a few people dying.

3. Green Lantern - Saves them.

4. Superman - Saves them.

5. Storm - She can manipulate the air currents and gently set the plane down.

6. Punisher with his van - ... He saves every last one of them. He even fixes the engine.

7. Silver Surfer - He doesn't even have to be there and still saves the plane.
