being that max is a 'true' supreme being, it would take another 'true' supreme being just to eternally stalemate him.

simply put, jaspers is not that sort of being.

I wasn't aware that Max is a supreme being. Learn something new everyday.

He was sort of a supreme being. He was given divine powers through something called the creation equation.
