If you're asserting that Reed couldn't handle being Doom, having his armor/castle/tech, whereas Doom could handle being Reed, comparatively powerless with the FF supporting him (even though it took him a long time to bring the rest of the FF to his side)... then yes, Reed was screwed before he started. The fact is that Doom's armor may have been influencing Reed, but it wasn't sabotaging Reed. Reed was simply turning evil and ruthless and ended up not wanting to take the armor off. IMHO, that storyline was about as definitive as you can get regarding the two. Most other duels and fights are marred by plot-device. This wasn't.

Furthermore, I never said that fight would dictate how this particular team vs team battle would go. I posted it in response to someone else claiming that Reed always beats Doom in the end. So not only have you managed to put words into my mouth, but you also didn't care to understand the reasoning for my posts.
In which case then, my initial question is rhetorical as I'm now very sure you didn't bother reading the scans and so to seek an answer from you would be an exercise in futility. Or as Mindset would say:
