I have a theory concerning the match ups between CM and Supes............i think cap only appears to be stronger than supes in H2H because of supes special weakness to magic.

I don't believe CM have the strength feats of supes and cannot beat many of the high powered people that supes have put down.

Just my MHO. would like to hear what others think,

Superman is not weakened by magic. He can simply be hurt by it.
It's not kryptonite or anything.

Captain Marvel is able to go toe to toe with Superman simply because he's physically equal to Superman. It just happens that the source of his abilities is magic, much like the source of Superman's abilities is solar energy. Nothing more nothing less.

But, in a straight punch up with nothing else, the good Capn has the comfortable edge because he can magically amp up his punches. Doing more to Supes than vice versa.

Marvel has also beaten down high powered guys that Superman has struggled with such as Bizarro and Grundy.

As for who's the strongest? I'd like to think Darkseid at his strongest (pre crisis?) >>>> everyone else on the list.

Captain Marvel is the Mightiest Man in the World.

Superman is the strongest Kryptonian there is...

CM is one of the many guys with comparable strength to SM
he is stronger than hercules as he has teh power of zeus aswell

i wish he had more strength feats although he did help SM lift the book with infinite pages and therefore infinite mass...

Well yes, obviously. He's not casting a spell on Superman. He's simply magically amping up his already Superman level punches so that it hurts Superman more.

Thats not what I was saying though... I'm saying that in addition to amplified strength, there also the essence of magic that affects Superman. The example I used was BA vs SBP.
