What's the matter? Feeling down because you got impaled by the Tyrant or decapitated by Doc Salvador or the Chainsaw Majini?

That's where the Rocket Launcher comes in.

As the saying goes, "Payback is a b!tch."

Ever since Brad 'Chickenheart' Vickers dropped that M66 Rocket Launcher in the first Resident Evil, this weapon is the ultimate definition of the term 'one-hitter quitter.' With the exception of several enemies, the Rocket Launcher has made the denziens of Umbrella (Wesker included) its b!tch.

The only downside is that the Rocket Launcher takes about two seconds to aim, making it useless against faster-moving enemies like the Hunters (as my cousin found out while playing Nemesis a while back).

This weapon is a RE mainstay and is worthy of our respect.

The Merchant: Stranger, Stranger. Now THAT'S a weapon.

The Rocket Launcher is indeed one of the greatest weapons of all time in Resident Evil. I pretty much purchase the Rocket Launcher before every fight with Ramon Salazar. Fighting him without the rocket is a real pain and using a rocket against Jack Krauser (in his mutated form) is a bad idea because the rocket is pretty much gonna be a waste because he'll either dodge it or shield himself from it.

As cool as the RE Rocket Launcher is, I personally don't see what's special about it that would make it better, different, or more unique than the Rocket Launcher you see in any other game series.
Of course, Doom's Rocket Launcher was the first one I was really exposed to.
