He can adapt to her squirrels, but not to her, she is teh squirrel.

Squirrel Girl Summons Mega Ultra Squirrel which is a real-life Squirrel that at some point was trapped in the Comics universe and has all the powers of a regular squirrel. He eats all the panels that Fury is in.
Also I had forgotten that Alan Moore had ever done anything for Marvel. That's who made Fury isn't it?
