For one thing, the second scan is Galactus after he stood on the impact point of two planets colliding, NOT after Thanos blasted him.

So Thanos didn't capture Galactus through prep as a matter of fact Galactus was unprepared and caught off guard for the attack from Tenebrous and Aegis. Not Thanos.
