Just announced for WiiWare in 2010. They're saying it'll have three playable characters including Mega Man and Proto Man, and an easy mode. The first robot master announced is "Sheep Man"

I'm ok with this since this is Mega Man classic, it's 8-bit, and Mega Man 9 was the best game in the franchise (not counting compilations) in like, 10 years.

They're even doing shitty mock-8-bit cover art again.

I agree. They should just let every Mega Man franchise die except the classic.

I guess we know when Mega Man 11 will be out.

I think they're going to run on empty and who knows? maybe this game will be the bridge with the X series. I would like another 16-bit classic game using the Mega Man 7 engine tho.

And yet that is the best cover I've seen for a megaman game to date, guess it's opinion that determines whats "shitty"

I especially love the reference to the Wily dragon from Megaman 2, nice touch.

They have to be bloody joking with some of them the games are hard enough as it is.

I don't know how I feel about Capcom reusing robot masters from the PC games. Yeah, those games sucked but the original Wave Man, Oil Man, and Blade Man were much cooler (and less racist, i.e. Oil Man) than what Capcom came up with.

Won't be able to DL it till later today. Any initial impressions? Is the third character available yet? Is it Bass? Duo? That obscure, clit-looking Fan dude from Rockman Stategy?

The DLC will be as follows-
Bass Mode (200 points) and Special Stage 1 (100 points) to be released on 4/5,
