Quite epic how Prime is just slicing mo'fos with an axe. Should hopefully be pretty cool since it's borrowing a bit from the War Within era. Notice Omega Supreme toward the end. That's just neat.

Looks great hopefully its as good as the Transfomers PS2 (2004) game if not better.

It's actually supposed to be quite like it. You have three Autobots to choose from to go on missions and I believe they've said whichever bots you don't pick will be AI teamates.

His alt mode is hard to describe, it's almost like a motorcycle from tron, crossed with a hot rod, finally crossed with a big ass truck. This guy on another forum has a pic of his alt mode in his signature, looks like this. Neat sig too.

A video they showed at Toy Fair shows the gameplay to be alot like Gears of War and Gears of War 2.

They showed a stage where you play as Optimus being backed up by Bumblebee and Ratchet

Next stage showed Jetfire in outer space flying with Air Raid and Silverbolt tryin' to do some shit or other.

Finally the last portion of the vid showed Megatron in a boss battle with Omega Supreme. It raped him severely.

Not only is Leonard Nimoy voicing Zeta Prime, but Doug Parker will be voicing Starscream. For those of you going all, "who the f*ck is Doug Parker?" Doug Parker voiced G1 Starscream in the Beast Wars episode Possession. Sadly, he's no Chris Latta, but the next best thing. As a kid, I seriously thought it was still Chris 'Muthaf*ckin' Cobra Commando/Screamer" Latta, he's that in tune with the character.

Little by little, this game is startin' to look like Arkham Asylum for Transformers, I'm glad.

Unspeakable geekfest occurring right now, let me tell ya.

Megatron has a Decepticon Logo making up part of his armour on his back.. And his armour above his face has the decep logo as part of it..
The logos of each camp seem to repeat thematically in abstract ways in the design of Cybertron itself. (So far..Im still on chapter one, attacking the Station right now.) crazy graphics, the controls, whilst fiddly at first are a pleasure to wield when you get the hang of it.
The movie sections are stunning too. Absolutely the game I've wanted for years and years as G1 fan and as a fan of fast paced action..
You owe it to yourselves to get this in.... Amazing stuff....!!

They were easy for me when i played the multiplayer demo then again i have played Gears Of War.

Just bought this new for the PC, its 45 bucks! and is 20 bucks cheaper than the 360 version.



I dont have a great rig but I am ok playing it. The vehicle controls are difficult at times. Its a fun game, typical Unreal stuff.

Pretty solid apparently..although some of the levels dont make the most stimulating battle zones is about the size of what I read in reviews..Ive not bothered with it as yet...Ive been waiting 'til one of my 360 using mates get it in.

Its a typical Unreal game, so its fun. I wish there are more weapons, perks.....ie goodies for the multiplayer though, Imo its very limited.

Always xbox 360 for me these days for me i know the PC that i'm using can't play all the new games.

That is what I find the most true thing about Platform gaming.

As PC games require more graphics, more processing speed, more RAM, more this more that the PC gamer slowly becomes a PC nerd or a Console Gamer. Maintaining an up-to-date gaming PC is very expensive and annoying most of the time...

Just watched a Game review tv program they complained about the game using the Gears Of Wars system but have the ability to cover behing things

-action being too simplistic
- walking around searching for ammo and health... too much actually - you'll run out all the time.

besides those things they liked it.

-Simplistic..? Revenge of shinobi, Tetris, Outrun, Pang, Flicky, Halo, Afterburner etc were way more simple...yet great.


-They were just crap at playing it.

Haven't had much playtime with my console copy, but I've been lovin' to bits the DS version. All my favorite bots are in it and playable! Ultra Magnus, Cliffjumper, Motormaster, Skywarp, Starscream, OP, Silverbolt, Grimlock and Soundwave.

I dont think they are counting ability attacks like whirlwnd and stuff. Just the basic melee

I can only remember one per character, but you can transform and ram too, which is a kind of melee too.

Got cracking on the Autobot campaign yesterday after completing the Decepticon missions. This has been one of my favorite 360 experiences so far, this game.

Kaz, I read the review.

1) On the xbox version Ive encountered no bugs whatsoever.

2) There is a similarity to the feel of Gears of war, but TFs is a way better game, IMHO.

3) I'd give it closer to 8 out of ten in general gamesness,
9/10 for TFs fans..

I need to add something here; I'm not sure if anyone else caught this or it was just mine, but during the escape from Keon Prison in the underground battle sequence with that big ass cube with my head in it. I think it was the first or second conversation, but the face of the cube you're looking at will smile on one side of the face. I just thought that was creepy for that rarely happens with me, smiling.

Nothing to fill in on as yet...just hoping, at this stage....

Shockwave, Jazz and Onslaught are the three that interest me most.
The other two were post G1-continuity. The extra multiplayer maps sound great too.
