bin watchin' fotr again and as usual i get some question miracously slipped before.
Right when bilbo says "my preciouss" to the ring and Gandalf comes with "it's been called that before but not by you". My question is, how does he know that. He doesn't know for sure if that's the one ring at that point.




oh..damn. Figured the answer right after i posted this, sorry.

True. But Gandalf was commenting that it was called "precious" before by Gollum. Which he knew then (events in the Hobbit).

Whether Gandalf knew that it was the One Ring or not doesn't make any difference. smile

Thought you already knew the answer. But I posted my reply just the same. For other peoples benefit.
