A 3-on-3 matchup between the aces of the Robotech Defense Force and the three Evangelion Units.
Gendou Ikari is pissed.
Third Impact is not going to happen, thanks in part to the massive battle fortress known as the Super Dimensional Fortress One, or SDF-1 for short.
The remaining Angels have all been destroyed Not by the three EVAs, but by the Robotech Defense Force. Once again, Captain Henry Gloval has given not only himself, but all of NERV the big FU.
Aside from the irate Commander, the second-most pissed person is none other than the half-German, half-Japanese pilot, Asuka Langley Sohryu. Still believing that NERV was the better entity, the hotheaded Pilot gets on the horn to the SDF-1 and throws down a challenge - a 3-on-3 battle to the finish. Even Ikari supports the idea.
Gloval accepts and immediately summons Rick Hunter, Max and Miriya Sterling to the bridge and gives them their marching orders - give the three EVAs a good old-fashioned beatdown.
The showdown takes place near Tokyo-3. Rick is in Skull One, Max is in his own Veritech, which he name Blue Devil, and Miriya is in her own veritech, which she dubbed Scarlet Fury, whereas Asuka, Shinji Ikari and Rei Ayanami are in their respective EVAs.
Each sides are armed with their respective weapons, cannons, prog knives, whatever they can get their hands on. For the duration of the battle, the three Veritechs are in Battloid Mode.
