The Mythic Squad

Year: 2028

For years, Mankind never believed in mythical things. Some said that it was a hoax. Some even said that it was fake. Now, in the year 2028, Humans are at peace with the Mythical Creatures. They learn what Humans do. Making their own jobs, living a normal life, and even controlling their powers to not scare Humans.

Long time ago, the Treaty of Terra was signed by the President of the United States and an Emperor spirit of Eigengrau. It keeps the Mythics and Mankind at peace.

In the city of Detroit, a small group of people named the Mythic Squad looks out for Mankind and the Mythics, keeping the peace to both parties. Whenever troubles stirs, they'll be there to solve the case. Even the mayor knows them well.

One night, at 10:20 pm, something went horribly wrong. A call came to the squad, telling them that a Werewolf went out of control and attacked a young woman. But when the Mythic Squad came and shot it down, the woman cried out that he was her boyfriend and was trying to save her from an attack from an mysterious being.

This devastated the squad, and they were sent to the Detroit City Council. Before they could give their badges to the Council, they pleaded to investigate on who misled them to kill the Werewolf and why. The Council agreed, but on one condition: they would send a man named Johnny Wills with them. He is an old major, and keeps the Mythic Squad on track. If they complete their mission, they'll keep their job and continue on to protect innocent lives. If not, then the Council must stop their organization and there won't be anymore Mythic Squad.

You are the Mythic Squad. Find out who misled you to kill an innocent Mythical creature and why. Some mythical creatures are against you now and may come your way, but don't let that stop you from getting to the suspect that started this chaos.

You may also be a Mythical creature on the Mythic Squad, not just a Human. So... who wants to find this suspect?


Rules

- You can make up any characters. But you must ONLY play up to 2-3 characters. They can be good, bad, or neutral.

- No God-modding. Meaning no player is more powerful than other players, you can't have a superweapon, etc.

- Don't kill another player's character unless given permission by that other player or the Gamemaster (me).

- Less swearing. Let's keep this PG-13.

- You may insult the player's character. Just not the players themselves.

- Be kind in OOC ((Out of Character)).

- Most importantly... Have Fun!!

The Last Resort:
A pub that is only open at night for middle-class criminals that have quite alot of money already. But rebellious millionaires children are also seen here. It is known for strict rules punishable by death.
1st Floor: Area for drugs and the like.
Ground Floor: The actual Pub.
Cellar: A casino.
Although the pub is highly illegal the last dawn raid was a few years ago because all policemen that are involved disappear. (May I control activity in the pub to create the right atmosphere?)

As long as he controls it, and not affect other players, I'm cool with it.

Of course, I never had any intent to use it on other players, and I kinda figured something like that should be used sparingly. Seems like the kinda power that would sap his energy reserves...

Occupation: Alcohol smuggler for Cleveland's patrons. (City of Cleveland has enacted Prohibition laws on account of the policies of the newly elected Mayor)

Weapon(s): Cane with a small button at the top that when depressed shoots out a very sharp sword through the base; sawn-off shotgun (only used in emergencies when he wants to get messy)

Vehicle: No vehicle. A previous President 20 years ago restructured the American automobile industry. 10 years ago, the City of Cleveland made driving capabilities a reserve for only the police department. All in all, nothing but two good feet can get you anywhere in life.

Bio: Adamaska is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia Federation, born in the aftermath of a disgraced Communist regime that still lingers in the breadth of that era. He emigrated to the United States to get away from the Russian mafia that had when he was younger banded with some terrible Mythic creatures and had murdered his relatives. He was alarmed at first at the presence of the creatures in the States, but through time and passage of laws a truce was made between humans and mythics and Adamaska came to appreciate the connection.

He joined the Mythic Squad which had a main small group in Detroit and outlying influences in Milwaukee, Chicago and Cleveland. He hated Detroit, because of long-standing reasons, and chose to live in Cleveland yet still keep a good tie to the Squad. The dreadful incident with the Werewolf had alarmed him, however; and it was enough to get Adamaska from stopping peddling illegal booze from New York and Pennsylvania into the city. He heard a meeting was taking place, and he had no fast transportation to get there, except a speedboat that could reach the former Ford city in less than a hour.

Bio: Preston Marks is the latest inheritor in a long line of witches. This is a shock to him and his parents because only the females inherited the power. Before adjusting to life as a mythical creature, Preston was a graduate student at Michigan State University, majoring in Culinary Arts. He was the life of the party and people loved him. When strange things started to happen around him, the people quickly vanished.

His parents expressed shock at what he told them. Not about what he told them but that he was the one that was telling. They said that witches were common on her side of the family and that there was never a male one in the line. After getting through the initial shock, he quickly adepted to being a mythical creature. He explained his situation to his friends and it took a while but they came to accept it.

He is still in school and is more than upset about the situation involving the death of the werewolf and wants nothing more than too assist in any way he can in figuring out what has occurred.

Alright bladewind has clipped my earhole and gave me a kick up the behind. im here but i have no idea how to come back into this or where we are can i get a recap.
