The team below on the list vs CLASSIC Trigon the Terrible(neutral realm).

Team:

Photon(Genis)
Silver Surfer
Nova(Frankie)
Superman
Wonder Woman
Apocalypse(non-jobbing)
Thor
Kara Zor-El
Morg with WOL
Terrax the Tamer w/ Axe
Martian Manhunter
Starfire
Miss Martian

The team is led by the most powerful being of the group(Morg)and Superman. Assume Morg and Supes know how to work together.
PIS and CIS are off also.

How does this go?

Should probably leave this alone, but anywho...

The team is simply lacking in the needed defenses/arcane finesse necessary to combat a Classic Trigon. There's enough raw physical strength and "blasting power" there, but that's not how the battle is going to play out with Trigon: everyone on the list (except the Heralds) will find themselves mentally/mystically overwhelmed, in many cases confronting their own worst aspects of their inner-selves while their bodies slowly become immobile and granite-like; the Heralds can offer greater resistance, but will shortly realize they are fighting a battle on a level even they aren't built for (much to Morg's chagrin), and will be forced to retreat.

Out of those being left behind, afflicted, the two with the best chances of working their way "free", and possibly opposing Trigon via a different metaphysical tact, are Thor and Wonder Woman; Thor will eventually work his way through his own internal faults (and who knows, may even learn something along the way) while Diana is the "least" susceptable to Trigon's usual corruption (though not immune). If the two of them act together, via their magical weapons (not in a bash'em up tactic, as even using Mjolner in an all-out "simple" attack is NOT the answer to defeating Trigon) and attempt to repel him via Truth and Banishment, then they stand a chance.

Nobody else on the team stands a ready chance -- the shapeshifters (Apocalypse and MM, etc) lack certain metaphysical understandings in this particular scenario; the Kryptonians are, unfortunately, non-issues in this case, as they have zero resistance to Trigon's power; the Heralds have the raw power, as such, to pose a *physical* threat, over time, but again that isn't how this is going to play out, and their "strengths" don't readily aid them in a situation like this one.

Trigon wins 8/10; 1 battle goes to the Heralds figuring something out, or combining their powers in a (not just physical) assault; 1 battle goes to Wonder Woman and Thor using every ounce of will and wisdom they possess to save the day.

The Team would stand *much* better chances if the more occult/abstract beings near-ish their level were involved (such as a classic Doctor Strange, Phantom Stranger, Doctor Fate; hell, ironically even Madame Xanadu could help in the area of "abstract wisdom", that would play a much more important role in a battle like this one.

(Sorry for the long text, but wanted to make sure I elaborated on my reasonings)
