A very good start to the year DC.

My only take is....how is Doctor Fate going to fit in this new JLI? ermm

Huh - I thought Giffen said at one time he'd written his last Booster Gold-Blue Beetle 'bwahaha' type story. I guess he feels refreshed.

This just sounds wonderful. Solidly looking forward to it.

I wonder if it's going to be more like the original series that combined the humor with action, or the more recent "Superbuddies" minis that were played entirely for laughs.

Also, it's called "The Lost Generation," but I would love to read a Fire/Ice/Booster/Current Blue Beetle/Martian Manhunter book set now; Fire and Ice are free, Booster's title is going in "a new direction" according to DC, and Jaime's is going to be featured regularly in a team book that is not the Titans. And I'd say there's at least a somewhat decent task that Blackest Night or immediately afterwards might engender the return of the Martian Manhunter.

Either way, I'm psyched.

This could sell for 4.99 and I would still BUY IT!

*pats on the back* I had never read any JLI. I got the issues in trades recently and found it to be very entertaining. It was like all character's personality traits were amplified. I found myself laughing at some of the interactions, especially with Guy Gardner.

It was odd at the time, as comics were starting to turn dark at DC post-COIE, The Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen. So to see their premier team book get revamped as a wacky clubhouse with (Pre)Seinfeld-like character interaction...it was different but really entertaining. laughing out loud
