While I'm a fan of the franchise, the various incarnations and publishing canon has me at a bit of a loss on these issues.

1. Mind Control- Are the Robots vulnerable to mind-control?

I would think their advanced intelligence would make them susceptible to mind control from a powerful psionic.

2. Is electricity a part of a Transformers body?

Forgive the obvious nature of the question but I have an actual Transformer fan who is questioning this point.

3. Durability:- Specifically Ultra Magnus and Springer.

I've seen Ultra Magnus stopped with conventional weapons but I don't know that much about Springer's resistance level.

1) Yeah The Insecticon Bombshell could attack either TF or Human and again control over their minds.

Soundwave could read the impulses of TF minds.

And Mindwipe, the decepticon Headmaster used to hypnotise his victims.

Unicron could guide TFs in the Marvel comic continuity too.

2) There are plenty of things like "shorting out" and other things mentioned in both comic and cartoon....whether or not electricity is exactly the type of energy that is employed or not is to too clear.
Its also possible that they use electricity at some point in their chain, yet the electricity is the converted result of the absorbance of energon.

3) Springer is one tough son of a toasterbitch.
He lead the wreckers on Cybertron, was a bit of an all round arsekicker.
Probably almost as tough as Magnus.

This, along with Mindwipe is so goddamn awesome.

The Quintessans also brain washed a dead Optimus Prime, which brought him back as an evil zombie-like Optimus.

Also, the bots are vulnerable to special types of infections. As was shown when that hate plague started turnin' everyone red. Regardless of who it was, it struck bots and humans alike.

Thanks for the responses.

I have one more area that I would appreciate clarification on.

4) Transformers VS Magic

Are Transformers susceptible to magical attacks?

Sadako of Girth
In the G1 Cartoon, there was an episode where they went and got caught up in some weird situation back in camelot and with wizards and shit.

I dont remember the TFs being affected by magic during it. I'll rewatch it to be sure....but Id say "No" ina 90% sure guess.

.

Ahhh that one it had something to do with a cave they walked into it and ended up back then.

Yeah....thats right...."Decepticon raiders in King Arthur's court" is the episode name.

how come optimus is a prime ? is a prime part of a race or its something you earn for being a great warrior ?

Sadako of Girth
Its a rank appointed on certain TFs by the matrix itself, despite what Michael Bay says.
(Ultra Magnus was passed the Matrix in the 1986 movie
and was made Leader but wasn't called 'Magnus Prime' or anything.
And when he tried to open the Matrix, it wouldn't budge.
It chose Hot Rod later on and he became 'Rodimus Prime')

The Prime houses, guards the matrix and (in some cases, like Hotrod's) are modified by it, physically and mentally, bringing them up to the sort of size strength and wisdom that a Matrix guardian/leader would need to be.

Ultra Magnus obviously didn't use it in their darkest hour...and he didn't realize it had finger holes, lol.

The Matrix opens in lots of "darkest hours".
Remember the hate plague incident...? So what was Unicron...? The penultimate darkest hour? stick out tongue
