The Shadow King has grown all powerful. Bored with this he selects a number of his slaves to fight gladiator matches in his very own Colloseum on the astral plane.

Special rules apply here.

Strength depends on your raw intellect, Reed Richards would be class 100.
Durability depends on your willpower, Dr.Doom would have be Thing level.
Combat speed and agility depend on the strength of the emotions of hope and love. A top tier would have Spiderman`s speed and agility.

All regular powers are off, combat is physical only.
Normal physics apply, no flying or morphing etc.
They have all been given master level fighting skills and are equal in this respect.
Weapons are allowed, bloodlust is on (as in willing to kill, not raving lunatics), no team ups.


The following fight: Professor X, Dr.Doom, Reed Richards, Bruce Banner, Beast, Lex Luthor, Superman, Hal Jordan, Apocalypse, Magneto, Spiderman, Tony Stark, Kingpin, Captain America, Star Sapphire, Jean Grey, Guy Gardner.

FIGHT! Who wins?

(Batman was disqualified for batkicking High Evolutionary during the qualifications. HE died of course)

Apocalypse if forced into an Astral battlefield with your rules would be a BEAST! He so fundamentally believes he is the Apocalypse + insane that I reckon he would take most of these guys down......that is going by your base rules.

Doom, Wins =D Strictly because he is both very high in intellect and will (his will have the best durability by far and a distant second would be Hal maybe).

Also his absoultly in love with himself lol so he is gonna be a beat compared to everyone else.

Intelligence = Doom
Will = Apocalypse

I have seen Apocalypse withstand and defeat Jean Grey's TP assault with sheer Will alone.

I'm too lazy right now but I agree Doom beats Apoc any day of the week. But in this Arena what has Doom done with his force of Will alone? I've always seen him use tech, Magic and trickery.

Doom has shrugged off the Purple man easily for one. (Something Kingpin did as well)

That is mighty impressive of king pin, did not know that.

#1 would probably be Superman, followed closely by Doom. Both have insane willpower, both are extremely intelligent (with Doom holding the edge there), the emotions side of this is what allows Supes to come out on top.

Yeah, I was thinking Superman too.

Mind you, I expect both Spider-Man and Cap would do well as well- they're not quite as smart, but since that's only strength related, they could probably hold their own quite well otherwise.

Magneto's also a contender.

What about Prof. X?
