It wasn't in the first SW, that im sure of, but I don't remember whether it was in SW II or SW III.

I do but even after reading secret wars and the molecule man gets his power expansion I still don't see how he could kill the living tribunal(then again he re-ignited like millions of suns that the beyonder blew out when creating battle world).But still he shouldn't be able to beat someone with power equal to the IG meaning that he can practically destroy the universe with but a thought.He had the power to reconstuct all the entities killed by adam warlock when he went psycho in warlock chronicles #1.I just can't see the molecule man being that powerful.

It's not that simple. Even with omniscience, LT wasn't sure he could take the IG from Warlock by force. They're pretty equal, powerwise, IMO. The LT simply has more control (IE, turning OFF the gems so they don't work in concert.)
