As for the other five I simply can't choose. To be honest I think my first five are equal (though, I'm sure I might be the only one that enjoyed FF IX and FF VII fanboys are going to disagree.) Also, I didn't think FF VIII is worthy of being in my top 5.

You know, this thread made me realize how few RPGs I actually liked. I'd have trouble making a top-10 list without spamming it with Might and Magic titles.

Suikoden I&II should be on that list.

If people include games like Zelda, then I'd have to add games like Grim Fandango, Beyond Good an Evil and Longest Journey (both games) and revise my top 10.

Although I think Zelda, Grim Fandango and its ilk fall under the Adventure genre.

ok, hmm, then I'm not sure I've played through enough to have a top ten but I'll do my best of the games I've played through all the way and can form an opinion of.-

MW2 was a dissapointment, wasn't it? Curse the crappy level design.

yeah... i liked the SP even though it was ridiculous, but the multiplayer sucks compared to MW1 imo. theres too much noob friendly stuff in it

It has some RPG elements, but it's no more an RPG than Warcraft 3 is. Saw no reason to list since we have the core Might and Magic games which are real RPGs.

I've seen so many good RPGs that are more worth being my favorite. Kudos to you for saying KOTOR (2nd was good too) and Baldur's Gate as well as Jade Empire.
I think my top 10 needs to be revised due to the fact that there are so many RPGs worth combating for a place in my top 10 (let alone my favorite). I just cant choose anymore! Dog help me!
