Doctor Fate (Kent V. Nelson) and Doctor Strange get in a huge disagreement about which one is better than the other and this disagreement has erupted into a cold war between the two. The One-Above-All and The Presence are both very interested in this battle for reasons of their own and decide to make the battle more interesting. The One-Above-All commands Shuma-Gorath to help Doctor Fate in his battle against Doctor Strange and if Shuma-Gorath is successful in guiding Dr.Fate to victory the monster will have satisfied his desire for revenge and be given hundreds more dimensions to rule over. At the same time, The Presence commands King of Tears to team up with Doctor Strange in order to take out Doctor Fate and also gives King of Tears an incentive to do so.
RULES:
Location: Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate are transported to some otherworldly dimension on a planet with a gaseous atmosphere.
Prep:
Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate are in tip-top condition. Strange is at classic levels and is armed with the Crimson Crystals of Cyttorak , The Eye of Agamotto, has his entire arsenal of magicks that he has used in the past, and for a 20 minute period can merge with the powers of Arioch as he did when he battled Shuma-Gorath in its dimension. Doctor Fate is equipped with the Helmet of Nabu and the Amulet of Anubis, has his usual arsenal of magicks, and for a 20 minute period can merge with the powers of Darkseid and Highfather.
King of Tears and Shuma-Gorath will arrive in the otherworldly plane after 15 minutes of fighting has passed between Strange and Fate. King of Tears arrives with no idea beforehand that Shuma-Gorath will be helping Fate and Shuma has no idea beforehand that King of Tears will be helping Strange. KoT and Shuma are able to use their max capacity power due to the mystic nature of the plane.
Shuma and Fate can attack either of Team 2.
KoT and Strange can attack either of Team 1.
Win Condition:
Battle is won by death or giving up by both entities on the same team. However, BFR is not a viable option for victory because TOAA and The Presence have put a barrier on the otherwordly plane that lets people enter but not leave until the victor is decided.
