did anyone encounter this?
i know it was nearly a week ago, but i was wondering if anyone came across the PS3 bug
it was where the system seemed to believe this year was a leap year and wouldnt let you load up a game or connect to online

I have one of the slims so I wasn't affected.

They weren't. Only the older models.

The Y2K problem finally caught up with the PS3... 10 years later.

I thought this was the end for Sony. But unlike the RROD, PS3s revived a day later.

It was a scary day.

It happened to Zune players in 2008

apparently they both (PS3 and Zune) share the same Freescale processor
