in marvel the Demiurge is the point of creation were all gods and demons origionate. it says when the earth was formed a life force gained conscience and created the elder gods with a fraction of its power. it also created atum.
and from the elder gods, all gods and demons are decendents from them.
this maybe similiar to the DC demuirge
