Not necessarily. Team 1 has two major advantages: maneuverability (due to their relative small sizes presenting a much smaller target when compared to the hulking Transformers) and teamwork. Megatron and Optimus has got to be the worst team possible, no way they'll ever be effective as a unit whereas IM and WM have proven camaraderie and cohesiveness.

Once Rhodes bonds with this!

Actually, Megatron and Optimus have worked together a few times when they both had the same interests, it's just very rare.

In this battle they'd be a team.

But you agree there's no way they could match IM and WM in terms of team-work. They may well fight on the same side and might even devise a plan together but they don't trust one another enough to act as a unit rather than just two guys tied together by a common foe.

illadelph12
Yeah, I agree, but sometimes simply having a common foe is enough when the parties involved pack a lof of firepower. They don't need to grab a beer afterwards, they just need to kill what's trying to kill them then go their separate ways.

Q99
And, for all their dislikes, the two do have a pretty good idea of the other's fighting styles.

What kind of strength do Transformers like Megatron and Optimus possess? Class 100+?

Lord_Talron
cough hulkbuster armor cough. iron man is well prepared to take high str foes; not to mention, compared to the iron men, the transformers agility is like 0

Lord Feron
I would like to see how this fight goes but can't really comment because I know next to nothing of the comic versions of T2.

Will Megatron be able to turn into a crazy gun and optimus just blows IM and WM out of the sky? smile

psycho gundam
their bios say they lift something like 100,000 tons

warmachin is the truth though, manhattan is full of metal he can incorporate into his form and.... the statue of liberty lol
