Ben kenobi aka ANH obiwan vs count dooku ROTS
Force
Saber
All around

Galan007
Dooku in all 3. Easily.

Lord Lucien
VERY easily.

BruceSkywalker
spite, "old" Obi Wan is no match for Dooku

Lord Lucien
Frig, young Obi-Wan couldn't take Dooku.

mattatom
Kenobi becomes more powerful than he could possibly imagine

truejedi
kenobi was 20 years younger than Dooku. It makes absolutely no sense.

truejedi
blah on that.

Galan007
Yeah I doubt ANH Obi was weaker in the force. He was likely stronger, in fact.

*thinking of how fast Ben went 'force ghost' after Vader killed him.*

Lord Lucien
One technique does not amount to increased combat ability with the Force.

truejedi
Just a stupid inconsistency is all. If anything, Kenobi should have been stronger. 20 years of nothing to do but train? and 60 was NEVER old before. Heck, wasn't mace almost 60?

Stated in the book Star Wars: Death Star.

truejedi
that's still why I am saying, blah on that. It just doesn't fit. He was out of practice? What the heck else had he had to do? yeah its canon, but so is Jacen's third hand.

Lord Lucien
The hand can be overlooked as an editorial mistake. Kenobi becoming weaker can be accepted. Just because some characters spent their elder years becoming more powerful, does not mean Kenobi did.

Problem is we have no concrete source saying what Obi Wan did, we do know he was learning under Qui Gon. Maybe he just spent all the time their practicing his Krayt Dragon call and ofcourse learning how to retain his form after death.

True.

Mace was born in 72 B.B.Y. and died in 19 B.B.Y. So closer to 50

I the Last of the Jedi series Obi Wan mentions that he did not trust using the force, so his powers were fading. (well something like that)

Darth Martin
Doesn't matter. Dooku has shown a wide variety of offensive and defensive combat Force manuevers. Kenobi has doen nothing. A lightsaber duel is also a piece of cake for him as well.

Dooku handled Kenobi in his prime with ease.
