Even recently he took damage from Colossus that would seriously hurt a normal fit man. Scott has taken damage in the past that just showed that either he is a masochist or just doesn't give a ####!

Remy wins though but nowhere near as easily as if he had access to melee environmental weapons.

gambit knocks him out with a guile style flash kick to the grill

maybe he is a masochist? could explain why he keeps getting up after a beating that would kill anormal person.
