Geez, that must have been a nightmare to go through what he was being dealt with. Poor guy, may he rest in peace.

He wrote the novel of Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire too, I believe.
Hard to believe he was homeless and living in a van for a while.

Actually, I just found that was a different Steve Perry who wrote SW: SOTE.

Oh my simply tragic. This man brought excitement and happiness to many children during the 80's and continued to shine on throughout the later.

I loved both SilverHawks and TCs.

I hope his son will be fine. Rest in Peace good soul. May your bright imagination and sight shine out, away from this dark world.

I'm so sorry for him. He really inspired my childhood, as he did with millions of other kids as well. May he rest in peace.
