Sasuke probably Genjutsu'd him ftw. And their speed is almost equal with Speed Star activated, with Black Star faster.

Wouldn't Star break out of the genjutsu thanks to enchanted mode?

I can't remember what that is. But I do recall that he was able to blow away Arachne's madness wavelength, which is kinda like genjutsu, so he may be able to resist it. Plus Tsubaki may be able to get him out of it somehow.

Damn, I haven't finished Soul Eater so i don't know everything about Black Star

Watch it, it's miles ahead of Naruto for sure.
