I was considering making this take place in Limbo to give Magik a boost, but I thought that might take away Strange's "Sorceror Supreme" edge completely, give it to Magik, and make this highly unbalanced.

Strange is the best sorcerer, that's for sure.

The only thing the trio really have going for them is more of them mean more spells off, and the soul sword which can break any enchantment.
But Strange has got them in power, versatility, and experience (several times more than the three combined).
