King Castle
what do you obsess about?

i spend almost all my free time with my babies(doggies). i love them and pick them over ppl..

also i nitpick ppl apart when it comes to their skin.. its a compulsive disorder thing.

Dave_97
You are an obsession, I cannot sleep
I am a possession unopened at your feet
There is no balance, no equality
Be still I will not accept defeat

I will have you, yes I will have you
I will find a way and I will have you
Like a butterfly, a wild butterfly
I will collect you and capture you

You are an obsession, you're my obsession

i happen to like that song.

If Christopher Reeve were still alive I'd be telling you to tell him that story

King Castle
i still pat their heads when they walk up to the fence or scratch the top of their muzzle.. really nice horsies

ADarksideJedi
Star wars and Pirates are my obsession and I had collected all of the star wars posters movies and lifesavors and other stuff and also pirates clothiers and other stuff.

King Castle

ADarksideJedi
Oh why not?love that picture!

steverules_2
I have collected a whole loada Star wars over the years, I even keep the original figures in their boxes embarrasment

ADarksideJedi
There is nothing wrong with that. All the action figures I have are also in there box and my lightsaver been used once and it is still in the plasic right next to my bed!

King Castle
i have collectibles in my closet including star wars stuff its an investment i swear.. still in their boxes

ADarksideJedi
I believe you.Are you going to sell them or just keep them?

steverules_2
I'll keep mine thats for sure, I wish I'd kept my slave I in it's box cause it was the shadows of the empire box but I think it had already been taken out since the stickers were on there and stuff. I go for some of the rare stuff cool

King Castle
sell them... i could give two sh#$s about them..

i got a part time job at a toy store during the star wars franchise was restarted so i could get all the rare stuff...

my friends were all why the hell you working at a toy store, dont you already have a job? they couldnt grasp the nerdiness of me and another geek friend of mine.

it was a sad Christmas for children that year. big grin xmas

got a bunch of jedi actions figures even the rare ones plus early limited number releases.. yoda, anakin, sammuel l jackson

ADarksideJedi
That is cool! How many star wars stuff do you own?

Peach
Pffft, I buy figures to play with them, not to shove them in a closet and let the boxes collect dust.

King Castle
i dont know.. *shoulder shrug* enough to fill two boxes neatly stacked on top of one another in an alternating pattern..a star wars stuff.

also have limited addition pewter models signed by sculpters artist with the numver written by hand.. marvel heroes and DC heroes..

i have boxes of comics plus 1st appearance of a lotta heroes.. like bishop, wolverine, gambit a bunch more.. i even got kicked out of a comic store for out bidding the owner over three rare comics. F4, uncanny xmen, and avengers all number 1 issue..

did some underhanded stuff to get my hands on some rare items worth in the thousands..

also have plush cotton action heroes stuff that are now worth something..

i have given one or two stuff away to my nephews and mt brother when he was younger.. always tried to explain how rare or hard to get they are and how much it means to me when i give it to them.. some how they dont care and probably ended up broken or in the trash,.

Be honest...when your posting you're having a make out session between Barbie and Ken stick out tongue

ADarksideJedi
Sorry it was to Peach to you I just have to say that is alot of stuff and it is a good thing to collect.I also have a basket full of beanie babies which I had not gotten rid of yet.

Peach
*shrugs* I buy figures to play with them. They're toys, not stocks in a Fortune 500 company. The chances of any of them being worth more than what you paid for later down the line are very slim. Some things will be, but most won't.

I'd rather have a well-loved collection than a bunch of boxes stashed away in a closet stick out tongue

I pointed out yesterday to GK that part of why I always have a piece of kneaded eraser on my desk isn't only for when I'm drawing; it's because it sticks figures to my desk standing upright much better than those dinky plastic stands they snap on to do.

I used to like to take the metallic film off of gum wrappers and stick it to my desk and make a sweet picture of something.

Rogue Jedi
They're called "action" figures for a reason.
