He gets up and struggles to gather some sense of his surroundings.

He walks for only a minute when he comes to a clearing.
Some distance away Cyrano De Bergerac cuts himself free from his tree-entangled chute with his sword and falls to the ground on his back...

He gets up after taking a minute to recover from the winded feeling of hitting the ground, and wanders off....he walks into Royce's clearing.
He find's Royce starapped into a chair sitting at a table surrounded by predators, and other species all gathered, looking at Cyrano as he approaches and talking among themselves, some giving others what look like coins and the ones that take the coins write on notepads.
Cyrano barely notices the two predators behind him decloak before the shove him forwards to the other chair opposite Royce.
Once he is sat and secured in the opposite chair, they are both presented with a rolled up parchment each and are each given a pound of the Predator non-dangerous equivalent of coke to snort against each other in a who snorts most fastest competition at gunpoint.
The loser is decapitated.
