what was the point of this? If an intelligent Oxford graduate who has become a successful stand-up comic is the worst of the Great British gene pool then I believe we're doing alright. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can tell he's putting on an act.

You do realise that the UK is actually pretty populous? 22nd most populous in the world according to wikipedia. And as for diversity, we're easily one of the most diverse countries in the world...
