He doesn't mention Logan specifically in that instance iirc, but like most things Cyclops-related, you would imagine he did, given how much he studied and studies with the X-Men.

If someone as retarded as Cage picked up some "kung-fu shit" (his own words) from Danny, then it's only logical Scott would pick up some MA techniques from Logan, considering how often they worked as a team or even as a duo, watching each other's back, w/o the rest of the X-Men.

Logan beat Danny in their sparring,
Scott mentions the other X-Men he learned from.

I miss the old times when writers knew Cage was shit and had him getting his ass handed to him by Classic Rogue or even Scorpion.

Now...? He one-shots the likes of Rhino, beats Colossus off-panel, knocks Hulk down with one punch, smashes Wrecker with a car, makes Ethan Edwards bleed and so on.

I chalk it up to the same plot reasons that everybody with lightspeed eye-beams and ridiculous precisions can be dodged -- plot . And we can rationalize it with the time it takes him to move his head/eyelids/visors -- but it's hard to do so when the ability is literally "has to look at you".
