This is along the lines of the SM vs. Max or PG vs. Max... except that CM doesn't have the range of abilities that Kal and Karen do. While I think he could do it, it is far from a slam; the Wisdom of Solomon does provide him with resistance to TP, but Maxima is quite formidable, and her TK is not far behind many of the uber-strong heroes. Also, she can take a decent beating...
