The MISTER
I just found out that amazon.com is selling a book called, "The pedophile's guide to love and pleasure". I cannot believe this mess. I cannot believe that amazon would sell a book like this and then say that they cannot sell pornographic materials. I think helping the pedophiles make money is way worse then two consenting adults having their pictures or videos of themselves taken. Do you think this is right?????

Look at this crap they have posted:

The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure
www.amazon.com
This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certian rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred

I know that this book may help out some priests but cmon!puke

its a book.

which means someone published it.
which means there is demand for it.
which means that someone, somewhere, is going to have to sell it.

If anything you should be asking who wrote it.
and, who published it, and will you ever buy one of their books again.

But what i wanna know is, Why were you searching for pedophile books in the first place... is there something you're trying to tell us?

My keen Canadian senses tell me there is, and that something... is that you like to read books, And that you shop at amazon.com.

Yes, this is all Amazons fault!

Damn that first amendment.

The MISTER
Cmon guys my wife posted this thread. She's just thinking about kids.

about this book and she suggested that I put it up here. I figured, whatever. I can at least agree with her on the fact that it is a little weird. Aside from that I've been aware of the Satanic Bible and the anarchist cookbook and all sorts of other high controversy books.

mikeydude
I couldnt even find it on Amazon.
So you are wrong...

Ax3l
It was pulled from Amazon, Captain.

Censorship is almost always a slippery slope, and talking about something isn't performing the act regardless of how horrible it is. I usually err on the side of freedom of speech, even when I feel weird about it.

Besides, things like 4chan and porn sites help pedophiles by breeding indifference toward human rights, not Amazon. Blaming Amazon is essentially shooting the messanger, not the dictator who sent him.

The book was removed from Amazon about 2 weeks ago.

I saw this on the news. I've permanently boycotted Amazon along with other friends and family. Its funny how Amazon can take down faster Adult porn but something like this it takes them a few weeks. Really how does pedophile book just slide under the rug?

"True pedophiles love children and would never hurt them," Phillip R. Greaves II said in a phone interview with CNN on Wednesday.

When asked if the self-published e-book was a "how-to manual," he said, "there are certain parts that are advisory," which set out lines that should not be crossed.

"Penetration is out. You can't do that with a child, but kissing and fondling I don't think is that big of a problem," he said.

What the f**k?

Amazon on Wednesday defended the sale of the $4.79 book, telling technology blog TechCrunch that it “believes it is censorship not to sell certain books simply because we or others believe their message is objectionable.”

But by early Thursday morning, the book was removed from the site. Amazon did not immediately return requests for further comment about the book or its disappearance from the site.
