Ryan I'm pretty sure you've been told that Buffy characters aren't considered comics characters.

They do have a full fledged comic series though.

Star Wars for instance probably has more comics than some independent Universes do, and yet Star Wars aren't considered comics.

Granted, but it was originally a television series (well a movie actually that spun off into a tv series) and that's what it's primarily thought of as.
