Scarlet315
I like first episodes, first part of movies, origin's period. Which superhero and/or team do you think has the coolest origin story. I always like spiderman's origin and even though it's not canon how the new animated series, Avengers: earth's mighetiest superhero's became a team

Magneto... It really helps define why he struggles so much on the line between good and bad
psycho gundam
he has too many goddamn names though
seriously, wtf
KingD19
I was waiting for that one. Woodstock '65 ftw.
Q99
I rather like, "So-and-so realized they could help people, and so did." type origins.
Sure, sure, vengeance is cool and all, but getting an opportunity to help people and then grabbing it with both hands and not letting go is a nice kind of heroism.
Colossus-Big C
1.Galactus
2.Wanda
3.Magneto
4. the stranger
the ninjak
Ironman and Dr Strange.
They did it themselves!
King Castle
i used to like wolverine's borne identity government experiment but that was ruined by the constant retelling of his origin now i think he is convoluted.
Magneto is a good one as is Rorschach.
tryin to come up with one of my own.
i guess for now i'll say X-man
Omega Vision
Justice League. Fighting a giant space starfish ftw

Yup, they're both great, but I love that Orion is constantly still wrestling with his origin in a very real, tangible way, where as in some ways Free's upbringing was beneficial to the formation of his drive, his will, his endurance, and that he has sort of left that part of his life behind.
On the one hand it makes him a far more evolved character than is Orion, but it's a take I find a good bit less compelling.

Morpheus, his story had it all!
SamZED
yeah Magneto's is a good origin. But looks like i need an update, no idea why his name is different now.
Id like to say Deadpool but his it to Fed up. I liked his original one anyway. The one with T-ray, where DP found out he's not really Wade Wilson, but simply a merc who stole real Wilson's identity after killing him and his wife but was so insane he actually believed he is Wade and that somebody else killed HIS wife.

Speaking of epic and Shakespearean, I'm quite a big fan of Black Bolt's as well.
Damn, Kirby should could create them, couldn't he?

Well I also like the stories that lead to penance (speedball) if you take into cotwxt that his powers and personality went haywire after the Stamford incident. I mean he was a happy go lucky kid whose world got torn apart.
Spawn is another favorite... Kind of like a comic book soap opera. :-P
... And Bruce banner...

I'd argue that Morpheus's origin wasn't as good as his successor Daniel's.

I quit thought the detailed account of Lucifer's rebellion and fall was better than both of them.
