Have not seen Megamind yet, but those guys must be pretty boss to be pitted against Man of Steel.

And yes, you will need to watch Megamind to see thier feats.

Megamind wins. Metro Man has all of Superman's abilities, without the crippling aversion to public speaking. In addition, he is shown to be more coordinated and can actually fly. You know, as opposed to just jumping hella high.

Metro Man also has no weakness, unlike Supes's Kryptonite.

Yeah, Metro Man is ****ing fast, he moves so fast time stands still. Tight, is like more like a SBP verison of Metro. They dont have the ice breath though.

The other fight is with Tighten, hes like a SBP version of Metro.

I think they both have good chances of beating animated Supes.

Anime is animation that comes from Japan. It can include many many different styles. However, anime style can come from american "cartoon" studios, as well as other nations. The American comic book movies are NOT anime because:

1. They did not come from Japan.
2. They are not drawn/animated in the way Anime is.


It was not a typo, either.

Here's why:

Transposings character or pressing keys next to the intended key, is a typo. Miss-typing "animated" or "animation" with the word "anime" is not a typo, even in the slightest. It is a factual mistake in animated genres. For example, typo "own" like "pwn" is a very famous typo and that is the basis for lots of leet speak: typos. The "p" is right next to the "o" on the keyboard, ergo calling it a "typo." Cool, huh?

Here's another typo: Fatr. Obviously, it should be "fart". oBobs is also a typo. It should be "boobs". Rhere is a typo. It should be "there". And so forth. Capisce?

However, most of us knew what you meant and only a few of us cared enough to let you know you were using the terms wrong. Better to be corrected, here, rather than a discussion in real life, I think.


Now you know what typos and anime are. Sure, Placidity could have been nicer, but you should thank him and apologize. That's only the right thing to do when you're wrong. It takes more balls to admit you're wrong than it does to properly show someone that they are wrong. I learned this a looooooooong time ago.

Either way I dont care, I was careless. Now drop it and comment on the fight. Placidity is on my ignore now. I think I had him on it before for being a dick just like now.

We got to see how much damanage the omegabeams did and they weren't that much different that Supes'. Keep in mind that this is based off of the movies and not the comic books.

Metroman did not tank the death-ray. He was not actually hit by the blast at all.

However, I think Metroman still wins this easily due to his speed. Easily Comics-Flash level speed.

The only argument for Superman then is that despite Metroman's superior speed, he does not have sufficient strength to damage Supes, which I think is unlikely.

It's funny I recently watched the blu-ray of this and my first thoughts was Tighten would whip Superman's monkey ass, I know there are many different versions of supes in many different media... and although he can sometimes lift the statue of liberty, full 747s or a city block sized landmass filled with kryptonite he always appears to use some exertion or effort regardless of what he's lifting.

Seeing Tighten lift a building easily the size of the Willis or Taipei towers and throw it like a dart with zero effort, I was like this guy would pound superman.

In the credits he is actually listed as "Tighten" the way Tighten spelled it.

errrr, lets relax for a second; Titan ain't Wally fast, but he does look to be faster than Supes (at least, the one we're using), dunno about durability though.

I just watched Megamind for the first time this morning.

Not a bad film, I have to admit. Not bad at all. However, as much as I like 80's metal like Guns N' Roses, Ozzy, and AC/DC, I felt that the soundtrack was a little overdone.

That said, Metro Man completely annihilates Superman with his speed. FFS, MM should have originated from the Speed Force he moved so fast. As fast as animated Supes is, he has NEVER shown that level of speed, even in the Superman: TAS episode when he raced against Wally West's Flash in a race for charity.

BTW, Titan is the correct spelling of the character's name. It's just that since Hal is a f*cking idiot he spelled his name "Tighten".

I was almost going to bump this thread when I watched Megamind a few days ago. As it is now I can throw my opinion in that yep, Metroman really is that fast. Dudes fvcking crazy.

Also the movie was great. I loved how much energy and likebility MegaMind had. Awesome.

Titan on the other hand gets buttraped.
