Wait a minute... why are you all giving this to ult Thor. Ultimate thor got STOMPED by Ultimate Colossus. 616 colossus is much more powerful than his counterpart along with being a better fighter. Ultimate Colossus took on Ironman INCLUDING thor at the same time and they were still losing.

Colossus wins this 8 or 9/10.

I would also like to add that ultimate thor along with the fantastic four got creamed by Supreme... they basically got treated like infants.

It's been a while but IIRC, Hawkeye said Colossus was beating Ultimate Thor in hand to hand for ten minutes. And Iron Man was not present.

But after his rebirth, Ultimate Thor got a boost.

Yeah I read a little bit of thor during ultimatum, but what actually boosted him?

In all fairness, in the hyperion fight, hyperion was winning until something cut all of the ss powers in half, thats when thor started winning though.

Also, what was the deal with there being two mjolnirs in the ult storyline? There was the one with the axe on the end and the one that looked like the 616 one. That always confused me.

Lol... rage, Thor basically got one shotted by hyperion... then sue came and rapped hyperion in a force field and human torch torched the inside of the ball that hyperion was in. Hyperion then punched the forcefield and made sue pass out and then he proceeded at koing human torch.

Now right after this, thor gained the advantage due to some kind of alien plant draining hyperions powers but when he HAD his powers, he got koed and easily at that. Hyperion had him screaming out in pain.

I honestly don't remember that. I remember the fight being almost all off panel except for like two panels, and Hawkeye saying that he was getting beaten or something.

I'm pretty sure afterward, Hawkeye used a mini nuclear arrow.

One shotted? Yea, that didn't happen. He knocked Thor down into the ground for like a few seconds, was blasted out of the sky, and then beaten into the ground when Thor went got angry. Oh yea, I remember that weird mutation being able to weaken him but I don't remember that being present. At least it wasn't when Thor brought him down. That much I know.

And didn't they have a fight before that that ended in a stalemate? The most impressive thing about that scene was punking Zarda who beat the shit out of Ultimate Hulk and IIRC, had the same stats as Hyperion. Even one shotted her in New Ultimates #4 I believe.

Do you mean the Loki arc? Okay that makes sense. What was the deal with swords he was carrying around for a while though?

I dunno though, hyperion was a beast, and I think there may have been some outside forces that helped thor get the upper hand, bc hyperion and the ss said that something cut their strength in half iirc.

They were just enchanted swords.

The split didn't happen until Thor had Hyperion in his mercy IIRC. A pissed off Thor is on par with Hyperion in terms of physical strength.

You guy's are completely ignoring the fact that Hyperion and the rest of the ss had their powers cut in half. Also, thor never once beat down hyperion at full power. In fact, it was the other way around. He literally caught his hammer and knocked him out with it. Thor hit hyperion in the face with it and it just drew blood. Do you see my point? Thor wasn't winning until hyperion was depowered. He was holding his own after he hyperion koed him the first time, but he wasn't winning.

ultimate colossus was always on banshee. the drug made him godlike. he beat ultimate magneto who repeatedly humiliated ultimate thor.

thor's fight against hyperion made it clear that he was no match for him and IIRC hyperion was weakened during it.

Ultimate Colossus was on drugs????? I need to read more Marvel ult.

I think so, lost trak of the body count. after nightcrawler drowned with the rest of his group instead of teleporting them all up, I just stopped carrying. I was already disapointed with that universe for a while as they threw the idea of a more realistic and updated take on the characters out the window and just went about 'ultimating' anything they could in moronic storylines. Glad it's over actually.

Yeah that is ridiculous... I just don't see like almost all of the mutant population drowning and getting killed by magneto. It's ridiculous. I've tried to read some stuff after ultimatum, but it's all stupid. There's evenn a new wolverine. He's some blonde 16 year old with the exact same powers as wolverine... so forced.

Why did Thor get curbed stomped the first round? If he was on hyperions level he would have showed it during their first encounter but instead, he got treated like a step child and koed with his own hammer (which hyperion grabbed and used physical strength to over power the enchantment.).

Like I said, mere contact for a few seconds will not do any noticeable decrease in power based on Ultimate Power #3 where he was in their presence for an extremely long time and even flew into a large organism, ripping it's heart out or some such. Granted, the first time he was in their presence, he started sweating which is weird based on what I described happening later. Guess he built a resistance or something.

The organism emitted a radiation that weakened him but it wasn't kryptonite or anything. Where a touch will have him collapsing.

The split happened during the second fight though, I just read it. I do see your point about the infection possibly not affecting him in the first fight, but that just kind of shows how the fight would go if he was near full power. Thor hit him in the mouth with the axe end of mjolnir in the first fight and hyperion just kept fighting.

Curb stomped? Hyperion knocked Thor down, not out. How many times do I have to tell you this before it sinks in? It's like talking to a god damn wall. Seriously, all he did was outmaneuver Thor with his superior combat speed. Actually, that was their second encounter.

Ultimate Thor's Mjolnir has no enchantment. IIRC, it's just really heavy, which is why Thor is surprised anyone but him had the strength to lift it.

the poison weakened him progressively. as the effects built up and the fungus grwe irradiating more poison, he keeled over. it's not that he got better for a while, but that he was managing more or less to push through it and remain functional, although weakned, no further explanation is necessary. IIRC by the time those things got that big he had already been infected with them for a while.

In all fairness, in the hyperion fight, hyperion was winning until something cut all of the ss powers in half, thats when thor started winning though.

Yeah I read that and was confused, but I think that this cleared up the timelines for me. So this is before ultimatum right?
