How can America remake it, trolls are not exactly part of American folklore... or is it a pointless remake where they set it in Norway and so on.

Money and Hollywood has ran out of ideas. Universal now owns rights to remake.

It was enjoyable enough, the CGI was much better than I expected going into it.

A US remake will be retarded, if anything, they should have it deal with Native American mythological creature(s).

I watched the first 30 minutes or so of this a while back and thought it was boring. Does it get any better? Should I have stuck with it? I also thought the trolls looked silly.

Should've finished it, in my opinion.
Troll Hunter isn't a horror movie, although that's where it's grouped with at my video shop....it's more of a mockumentary.

The trolls may have looked silly but their appearance is accurate to folklore illustrations & there was several other different versions shown.

For a low budget film, the cgi matched Hollywood level.

I really enjoyed this.

Well, I wasn't getting it, I guess. If there was any substance to get, I wasn't getting it. I got bored.
