sorry mills, got curious after reading some posts in other threads. my two cents: nova g-force pounds BB into defeat. with CIS off BB will go for the scream of course, but Nova's shields should survive long enough for him to open a stargate over BB's head

Here are my reasons.

In scenario 1, BB and Nova are fairly evenly matched, but Nova has a speed advantage, and his grav tricks. But the real kicker imo is that Nova has complete files and protocols for just about every known hero/villain in the MU. Basically its like he has prep everytime. He can also absorb and redirect the kings energy attacks.

Scenario 2: Nova prime uses all of his abilities and powers to the fullest. Gravimetric, energy manipulation, physical attributes (strength, speed etc) and most importantly, the nova syphon powers. So basically he'd be a guy with elite HH level power running around with full knowledge of his,opponents strengths and weaknesses. Not good for any herald, let alone black bolt.

Black Bolt wins. But just barely.

But I doubt Nova could drain BB(and its not like BB wouldn't be able to fight this) while BB is screaming, which he would do with CIS off.

With CIS off for Nova he would have a full shield up in no time, even The Sphinx with 2 KA stones couldnt get through and he had the power to megre 2 timelines/realitys iirc.

Or Nova would just open a stargate inside BB like he did to Sphinx as he is far more battle savy now.

I've never seen anyone resist a Nova syphon warrior and they've siphoned power from people more powerful then BB before. I know he'd resist, but even the slightest bit of contact they drain you. Or they can take your energy and create a psionic link, which they then take control of your powers. Every punch they hit you with or you hit them with, drains you. Or they'll use the energy to amp their strength ala Rulk. Ultimate pis I know, but that's how it was lol.

Ok I promised scans. Man I've really been enjoying digging through my old comics this week. I found most of my old Nova comics- in pretty bad shape- and its a trip how much stuff I had forgotten. But I digress.

I mentioned the Nova corps syfon division. Back in the day before Keith Giffen in a sense officially retconned the Nova corps into a green latern ripoff of space cops, they were actually an elite military force. Like any military force, the Xandarian army had an elite spec ops unit. Those were the syfon warriors. Those were the days when most of the sentient races of the galaxy gave Xandar a wide berth. Powerhouse was a syfon warrior whose ship crash landed on Earth during a recon mission. He was adrift in the ocean until he was picked up by a crew of sailors. He was comatose when they found him and he survived by unconsciously siphoning the life energies of everyone on the ship, killing them in the process.

Here's powerhouse drawing strength from Nova's energy before he even makes physical contact.

I have no doubt its would be a good offensive tactic. Just not good enough.

Ah but its only cis off. Morality is still on I believe no? Can't see the King unleashing a full on scream. In any case The Prime isn't hanging around for it. He has a full dossier with protocols. He'd be ready for it.
