What can Ragna and Jin do?

Ragna can fight the Black Beast, who took the entire nuclear arsenal of the planet as though they were pebbles, for a full year, holding it off.

Then my second favorite samurai loses then.

Has it ever been stated that Old Ragna was actually a match or even remotely close 2 the BB's power? I assumed it was more like just holding it off. Like what Charlie did 2 Shin Bison?

Well, it was confirmed in Phase 0, the Blazblue light novel that may not be named Phase 0 because I cannot remember, that it was in fact Ragna whom was the original Bloodedge, flung from the future to the past, and without the Blazblue. He held off the Black Beast for a full year in combat.
