Prep-Man
Both were pretty awesome, IMO.

Miller pushed the character in a new direction and made Matt relevant in the MU. It's kind of hard to compare because he's always going to come out on top because of that.

From a pure enjoyment perspective, the majority will still likely side with Millar, but more because there's a lot of Bendis-haters (personally, I love his Spider-Man portrayal and some of his ongoing stuff, but dislike his treatment of big events).

That's pretty much it. Daredevil was a forgotten character in the Marvel Universe. Frank Miller took him in directions no one had gone before with anyone at Marvel - the catchphrase about Miller in the 1980's, was that he was doing ninjas when ninjas weren't cool. big grin Heck, what he was doing with Daredevil also indirectly helped develop Wolverine, becasue of the miniseries he did with Chris Claremont. He's the reason I became a Daredevil fan, and that work is still readable today.

Bendis is distinguished for having the next best run on Daredevil, since Miller. I love his run nearly as much.

You could also split Miller's run in two: the first one which introduced Elektra, the Hand and Matt's teachers; the second involves the Born Again storyline, one of the best stories in Marvel history.
