Thanos and easily. How many times do we have to go over this... Classic strange ON PANEL when asked if he could deal with Thanos.. says.. He is NO MATCH for the Titan. So tell me, how the **** does Strange win?

False. Superman and Thor have faced people more powerful than thanos and lived and done very well. Because they are SUPPOSE to win and save the universe. This same thing is true with Strage beating evil demons or other sorcerer supremes and saving the day. However, we don't say Superman or Thor would be Thanos just because they've saved the universe against foes more powerful than Thanos. The same with strange. Strange's statement was SPOT ON.. he is no match for the titan.

Does Superman or Thor have strength feats that surpass.. Galactus, Eternity, Thanos, SA Mangog etc etc? Yes, does that mean they are stronger? No. Has superman beaten people more powerful than Thanos.. Onslaught...Walker.. even Odin.. yes he has. Why.. because some PIS and CIS will occur and he is a hero so he'll win no matter what in the end. Just because you beat people way way above you.. doesn't mean in a forum fight you would win. Now, lets look at Strange.. he's also a hero.. he also has to win and save the universe or dimension. He's fought people WELL above him, that on a forum 99% of people would be picking the person he beat not Strange. See where I'm going here or are you still this slow? Just because Strange is a hero and beats people he would never beat on a forum because of PIS and CIS doesn't mean he is that powerful. That is the exact reason why we have PIS and CIS and can see though the bs of comics at times. Strange beats people because he has to beat them. Can someone define "Classic Strange" for me? Like what decade is this guy from? Late 70s? Mid 90s?

I remember during the IG saga, Surfer and Thanos were about to throw down and Strange needed help dealing with them.

That's because it was under Starlin who strokes his pet characters. Strange wins this. Both at their best, Strange has too many options to be Thanos with.
