1. The title says it all, what (realistically) is your next goal in life?

2. How are you working towards it?

3. When do you hope to achieve it?

1. Mine's finding a new job, not for more money but with better long term opportunities. In fact I'll probably have to take a pay cut but I'm hoping to find a new employer who's willing to support my part time studies after I finish my degree next year.

2. Regestered with a couple of agencies (useless bunch of arse they are too) and also sent my CV to a few companies I'd like to work for.

3. Preferably before September, around that time I've gotta start a work based University project which is gonna take 5-6 months to complete. If I've not found one by then, I'll have to stay put.

Oh Tex, you've got to set the bar a little higher than that!

I don't think you realise how true that is, there's just no jobs going at the moment in my line of work.

The closest I came to my dream job fell through at the last minute, I was almost offered a job as a full-time press tool designer when one of the owners friends and previous co-workers was made redundant. Guess who go the job.

Yup, its like that the world around.

Had I got that job, I'd have been specialising in something that really interests me and after a few years I could have worked pretty much anywhere in the world for a good sum of money.

Apart from Mrs.MM, my life sucks ass.

Yes, but its important to be thankful for what you have.

My life sucks ass too, but I realize that lots of people have it worse, so I try to stay positive.

I am after a part-time job as part one of putting my life together; applying for some local library ones, which I hope to hear back from ASAP.

no, i just hate kids, I've had somany dealing with them its unbelieveable. so now I stear clear. its got nothing to do with attention, its to do with attitued, and at the moment I havent come across a child that isnt rude, obnoxious and repulsive.

you just been unlucky then, there are plenty of nice kids. The rude obnoxious and repulsive often relfects their parents or at least the environment they live in. Always exceptions though, angel at home a devil outside

I'm doing a BEng on a part time basis, in fact I've been there all day today and do every Wednesday. Its a fast-track course for people who already have HND's, I'll be going all through the Summer break too.

Back to work tomorrow though.

The late eighties and early nineties were quite good, in fact they played "Kinky Afro" by the happy mondays on MTV2 the other day and I went straight to listen to the album. Great stuff. I like Nirvana but not G&R, around that time in my life I was listening to a lot heavier stuff like Megadeth, Metallica, Sepultura, Iron Maiden etc.

My favourite band has still gotta be The Charalatans, without doubt they've released loads of songs that I will always love to hear.
