The best way to impress your girlfriend is to be observant and always comment on how nice her new hair-do is, or the new shoes she is wearing etc etc, they think that most men don';t notice these things so when you do they are impressed. And compliment her on her best features.

be yourself, dont be fake and try to be some thing your not! its very easy to tell when someone isnt being honest about themselves. dont do anything out of charater and just generally get to know her. best way to do things is to be friends first.

some things I did for former girlfriends include:
-sending her 75 roses for her birthday (she liked roses a lot)
-taking her out for a romantic seaside picnic just for fun
-giving her a white rose each time we had a date
-sending poems (never gone wrong with that)

just things like that

There's nothing worse that going out for dinner with a (slim) chick and feeling embarrassed at the Italian when they won't eat anything cos it's all got cheese and it's fattening, a girls gotta have an appetite especially for chocolate and desserts.

ok, for the last month I've had a really bad binge on chocolate and sweets, and the thing that I dont get is the fact that I've managed to lose half a stone in weight!
any way, I like my food, maybe a little to much but I do alot of exercise so its not really a problem!

Well I have been following this discussion and I must say several comments made here are simply disgusting. Several of what might be called jokes are in bad taste. It has been proven that girls are into guys who are honest, considerate, and act like human beings instead of constantly showing off by "acting cool" or making horrible slurs at the integrity of the very girls they wish to impress. To all the young guys out here:Just be yourselves, and please remember there are some things you cannot and must not say to young ladies.
